Hey, would you look at that: in the month+ since I last posted, New Hampshire went and legalized same-sex marriage, too! If there were causation involved here (and not just correlation), I'd totally be willing to take a 44-month hiatus to get the rest of the states onto Team Awesome.

What have I been up to in the past month?

- Finishing up a semester-and-a-half's worth of coursework in about 3 weeks
- Graduating from law school, yay!
- Starting my bar review class two days later, boo
- Finding an apartment in DC to move into in August
- Trying to get rid of accumulated stuff to make the eventual move easier (plus, it beats studying for the bar)

But I also don't want to drive myself crazy over the next 7 weeks, so I'm hoping to be much more present (i.e., at all) 'round these parts. I've got an flist backlog that I'm looking forward to tackling, so if you start getting awkwardly late comments to posts or fic over the next few days, that'll be me! And if something awesome has happened, I'd lovelovelove links!

Do I count as "something awesome"? ;) Not that I've been particularly "happening" lately. And you've already lj-stalked me anyway.

Umm, have a [Turkish parody of Star Trek (TOS) that is actually somehow a tourist video, part 1 of 40(!!)]. Yeah, I don't know either. It's probably best to have some brain bleach to hand. :D?

Haha, yes, that was a ridiculous amount of reply-to-your-post notifications in such a short span of time, wasn't it? :-)

"While on a standard visit to Rigel VII, my crew has inexplicably started to speak Turkish. Even now, I am speaking Turkish. Go figure" Ha! That is definitely . . . unique. They were really committed to the production values, though! And the Turkish!

And the tourism! And the slash! They were committed to many things.

Ha, and there you go with the lj-stalking again! :P

*waves* Hallo! 'Tis lovely to see you 'round these parts again!

CONGRATS ON THE LAW DEGREE!!!!!! *happy dance* *yay* *pompoms of awesomeness* (And associated congrats on finishing up so much coursework so quickly. I'm impressed!)

Best of luck with studying for the bar and with moving (which is an absolute pain). Does this mean you have a job in DC? Or are you moving in anticipation of a job? (I know nothing of how this 'lawyering' thing works...)

I never mind delayed replies-- it's always a pleasant surprise :)

Lessee, not too much has happened to me lately, but here's a quick links-roundup of the interesting things from my journal:

[livejournal.com profile] pixiequeen10thk wrote me a J/R SGA action figure comic

I asked for vid recs

I wrote fic? Who knew! (240 words of J/R cuddling in the morning. That I wrote accidentally instead of eating ice cream. Oh the way I suffer for my art! :P )
