So I don't have Photoshop or any other fancy image editing software, and my art skills are somewhat limited, but there was that scene in 5x11 - The Lost Tribe that's begging to be manipped, and I, uh, took a shot at it. In MSPaint. (With a side of Photoshop Express, the very limited version of Photoshop available online.)

Maybe it looks better smaller:

Like I said, it's MSPaint and Photoshop Express. (Think of it like the kind of art that children make, where you can't really tell what it's supposed to be, but you like it anyway because they're enthusiastic about it. Except this has more naked-men-in-bed in it than most children's art.)
The gorgeous John cap is courtesy of
crysothemis, who's got lovely caps and icons up already. She actually knows how to do this kind of thing, and managed to get the Sci-Fi logo off of his chest, seamlessly. (Don't believe me? Stare at his chest. For research!)
The Rodney cap is originally from Stargate Caps' Duet file. (I used Express to pinken Rodney up a bit -- changing saturation and highlighting, I think?)
The boys are resting comfortably on some Ocean Java bedding (such a fitting name for their comforter set!). And then I tried to soft-focus the whole thing a bit, so that it looked slightly less pasted-together-in-MSPaint-y.
Basically:
a) I'm insane,
b) staring at images of naked man torsos is a lot more fun than doing reading for class on a Sunday night,
c) how in the world do you get sight-lines to match up?
d) this is maybe giving me ideas for my happyfic, whoo!
e) I can see how this whole image-manipulation thing could be a lot of fun with the right tools, and
f) I'm really looking forward to people with more talent and better resources making use of these delicious new images.
Until they do, though, here is my meager offering. (And when you see better manips, let me know!)
