I'm glad you liked it! Star Wars was my first fandom (as, like, a toddler), and I've always thought Han and Leia pretty much define 'awesome couple-y banter', so I had to steal some for the boys. :-)

I figure that John was expecting Rodney not to put up with the flower, but kinda disappointed that he didn't follow through with the quote after John's completely obvious set-up. And then Rodney keeps the flower AND does the quote, and they're totally in geeky love, the end. *g*
